Almost three years after releasing their debut album, Fordirelifesake are ready to unleash the stunning follow up: Dance. Pretend. Forget. Defend.

With an average age of only 22 years, FDLS have packed a lot into their short career. After 3 EP's the band finally released their debut album, Breathing In Is Only Half The Function, which showcased their brand of hectic hardcore. Signed to Thorp Records in the US, the band were quickly picked up by Japanese label Alliance Trax and European label Skipworth Records who helped them release their music internationally.

With a desire to play to as many people as possible FDLS concentrated on touring relentlessly to support the album and build their fanbase. Over the years they have toured the US and Canada numerous times clocking up the miles non-stop. Starting out playing in basements to small crowds, their work ethic has seen them grow steadily and play alongside bands such as Poison the Well, Walls of Jericho and New Found Glory. In March 2003 they undertook their first headlining Japanese tour which was a huge success and had them playing to 400 capacity crowds. 2004 then saw FDLS move on to bigger things as their hard work paid off when they played the main stage at Hellfest in the US.

With this new album the band have drawn on their eclectic influences to push themselves and create a beautiful mix of technical, emotional and frantic hardcore. Building on their loyal following, Dance. Pretend. Forget. Defend. looks set to take FDLS out of the underground and into the hearts of fans all over the world.
