ExInferis formed in 1998. In the beginning the band
consisted of Kevin on guitar, Marty on vocals, David
on drums and backing vocals and Angelo on guitars and
backing vocals. Having difficulty finding a bass player,
the band decided to start doing shows without one. This
was the case until May 1999, when Marc took over on
bass. Another lineup change occured in December 1999,
when Marty decided to leave the band and was replaced
by Stephano, singer of another local defunct band.
ExInferis has found stability with it's current members
as this lineup continues today. The music played by
ExInferis is a mixture of the influences each band member
has, reaching from death and black metal to straight
ahead hardcore. Lyrically, the songs deal with topics
such as serial killers, demonic possession and schizophrenia...
all topics that particularly interest the band.
As for shows, ExInferis has played gigs in Luxembourg,
Belgium, England and Germany with bands like Inner Dam,
Canvas, Deluge, Deformity,dEFDUMp, Sad Origin, Newborn,
Facedown, Negate, Reprisal, 30 Seconds Until Armageddon,
Dead for a Minute and Down for Action.
The future includes a 4 Way Split CD on Battlescarred
Records USA and more touring throughout Europe and hopefully
America.
They are destined to be leaders in heavy dark metal
hardcore music worldwide.
