last weekend we flew to UK for 3 awesome shows with jairus! we played the verge for the second time. this time with walls of jericho and jairus, so what else do you want? even people from spain came over for just one show! well anyway, we had a lot of fun and you can see photos on www.deluge.nl as soon as i get them. so keep checking out!
thanks to robert (check out his band uppercut at www.uppercuthardcore.com) for drumming, mark (i love your breakfasts!) and eva, ritchie from new noise gigs, astrid promotions, our spanish friends, and of course jairus (so cool to finally see you guys play!) and our dear friend skippy and all the people that showed up!

hey everyone,
it's a long time ago since we have posted a message, so here we are again. first of all we are really excited to be in the UK again to play a couple of shows. these shows are going to be very special to us cause it will be the first time to play with our labelmates jairus. furthermore, robert (from uppercut, ex-deluge) will be filling in for the drums for the last time.
second, we're still searching for a new drummer. it's very hard to find a drummer who is a cool guy and can play like motherfucker as well. well for now, i can't say much except that we'll announce some more news about the drummer soon..

back from tour!

we're already back home after touring a week through france/spain. damn, it was so amazing! great to see you again, skippy! you should come to holland soon. we miss you already.
first show we did was in barcelona with poison the well, stairland and open hand. they're really nice guys and good musicians. and everything went so well, apart from tobias injuring his foot. he couldn't walk for the rest of the week and that sucked haha!!
the day after we went to the garden of gaudi (what's the name of that dude again?) in barcelona and we've met half of the guys of jairus which was great.
the last three/four days we hooked up with balti & paz, the guys of acp and their their whole crew. we could stay in some kind of a villa with a swimming pool in the backyard. we were stunned by their hospitality. the shows with acp were amazing as well. there was dancing, singalong and fingerpointing. so what else do you want at a hardcoreshow?!
last night we played in la rochelle. this was our last show and after that we drove straight to holland. (thanks steve and hello koroway!)

these show were defenitely one of our best shows ever and we're very thankful for everyone who showed up. okay, we have to go back to the normal living of studying and working... damn.

right now i'm packing my stuff for a week touring in spain :D damn, i can't wait to see skippy again and to play shows outside holland! we'll keep the journals updated this week, so check it out.. oh and if you can, come over to one of our shows with ACP!

sorry to all the people who wanted see Deluge last night in belgium. But since WMTD-scenestar Ivar Zuidhoek decided to come over and watch the classic movie "Being Semon van Arkel" they decided to cancel the show and drink a couple of beers with Alkmaar's most notorious peeps. Show will be rescheduled soon

hey everyone, welocome back skippy and FDLS, I'm glad to read everything went great!
in a few hours we will be leaving for our small "four county's in four days"-tour. tonight we will play tilburg (holland) with our tourmates darwin, after that we play france, belgium and luxemburg (check our show section for detalis) and we will meet up with defdump again; great guys, great band, great festival (liberation day)!

finally the cd’s are for sale and release shows were great, especially the first one in our former "hometown" texel. so many people came to see the show and made it a big party, thanx everyone!
it feels great to show "the world" the prduct we've put all our passion in, I hope "the world" will enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it!

we're back

so we're back again from the cold east of europe. touring there was a great experience, we've played some cool shows there and met some very nice people. as you can see in the news we were banned from Lithuania wich sucks big time and we're very sorry to edgars and all the other people from latvia. apart from this disappointment, it was a great experience and we enjoyed the polish hospitality and the cheap beer, thank u polish people!

deluge news update

Good morning,
At first we'd like to thank everybody for listening to "the promise" and all the nice comments. It's great to hear people enjoy something you put all your energy and passion in.
In this journalreport i will give a short update on the news according deluge. We are still busy organising the latest stuff for the tour next week and we're looking forward to it! We can't wait to get in the van and explore places we've never been and meet people we've never seen (and skippy of course).It's great to escape from reality for a short time and feel like a "touring band", i really can't describe this special feeling, everyone should try it sometimes i quess.
Just this morning i red a comment on a deluge song from the "spot in the shadow" album. It was not a very special comment,but the person who said it made it special;jamey from hatebreed! His comment:"This reminds me of bane, converge and maybe poisen the well.Cool!" Wich of course is nice to hear, due to these nice words we might ask them to open up for us sometime!
We can't wait for the split to come out and in we're already working on some new songs, cos as always; the best is yet to come!

the recordings and mastering of the songs for the split with fordirelifesake and "the promise" are finished and we're very satisfied! expect some fast,emotional and melodic hardcore with a touch of piano.can't wait to show the world this new piece of work!
